ELECTRICAL REWIRES
FAQs
Why is a Rewire necessary?
Rewiring in properties often takes place during full refurbishment when there may also be a greater demand for power or when the whole of an electrical installation has been deemed dated or unsafe. Our approved electricians complete full and partial rewires and new installations. Contact us to find out more.
Partial Rewire or Full Rewire?
The partial rewiring of circuits usually takes place during a house extension or the fitting of a new kitchen or bathroom. A partial rewiring of individual circuits may also be advisable when reviewing the safety of a current installation or there is an increase in the demand for power to a fixed appliance.
How much does a Full Rewire cost?
The cost of a full rewire depends upon the materials, size and environment of the installation. Our approved electricians will assess your needs and establish a tailored quote to suit you. Contact us to find out more.
How much does a Partial Rewire cost?
The cost of a partial rewire depends upon the extent of the installation and the materials involved. Our electricians will provide you with a range of solutions to successfully meet your requirements. Contact us to find out more.
Can I still live at home during a Full Rewire or Partial Rewire?
Living at home during a full rewire is an option, however this can create a lengthier process due to the movement of furniture in order to create space. This can become more costly as a result. If only a partial rewire is taking place, living at home is usually fine as any obstructions are often limited. Whatever your circumstances we are happy to adapt for your convenience.
How long does it take to complete a full rewire?
The time taken to complete a full rewire is usually between 7-10 days. There are factors which can affect this such as the size of the installation, the condition of the current installation and the time required to safely remove it.
